Abstract

The Office Game is designed to demonstrate the difference between the typical functional office arrangement and a Quick Response Office Cell (Q-ROC), by simulating the processing of orders for airplane interiors. In the first round, participants are organized in traditional departments. Teams are then formed for the second round. The participants learn how powerful the Q-ROC design is by experiencing the difference in processing the orders as a functional department compared to collaborative teams.
