QRM as a tool for creating a well organised structure

This talk will explain how a new organizational structure with cells was implemented in a medium-sized company. The main goal of the re-organization was to retain the advantages of a small company whilst avoiding the problems of uncontrolled costs that a bigger company may face. The company cross-trained its employees, used High Level MRP to run the company and implemented QRM metrics in order to drive improvements. As a result, the company was able to half its lead time and realize a 50% increase in productivity.
